How to distinguish the quality of disposable vape aluminum shells

Aluminum shells of the disposable vape are very common, so how can good or bad aluminum shells be distinguished in conventional applications?
1. Mark routine inspection
Whether the aluminum profile and packaging are marked with the product standard code, production license number, etc.

2. Surface quality
The surface of the aluminum profile should be clean, and defects such as cracks, peeling, rust, and air bubbles are not allowed, and defects such as corrosion spots, electric burns, black spots, and oxide film peeling are not allowed.

3. Oxide film thickness
The aluminum profile oxide film is formed in anodic oxidation, which has the function of protection and decoration and can be detected by an eddy current thickness gauge.

4. Sealing quality
There are many gaps on the surface of the anodized aluminum profile. If it is not sealed or not well sealed, the corrosion resistance of the aluminum profile will be reduced. Commonly used methods for sealing quality inspection include the pickling, conductive, and phosphotyrosine methods.

The on-site inspection generally adopts the acid leaching method, that is, scrub the surface of the aluminum profile with acetone to remove oil and dust, drop nitric acid with a volume ratio of 50% on the surface, and scrub gently. After 1 minute, wash off the nitric acid with clean water, then dry it, drop a drop of medical violet on the surface, after 1 minute, wipe off the violet and clean the surface thoroughly, carefully observing the traces left, aluminum profiles with poor sealing will leave obvious The heavier the trace, the better the seal.
