What are the U.S. warning labeling requirements for vape packaging?

1, electronic cigarette packaging warning labels
U.S. regulators require the following statement on the packaging of tobacco products: “Warning: This product carries nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.”
This warning must appear on the packaging of the tobacco product. It is illegal in the United States for all persons to manufacture, package, sell, promise to sell, distribute, or import tobacco products without a warning label.

Required to Mark Animal Child Warning: Keep this product out of the reach of children and pets.
The warning label must appear directly on the package and be clearly visible under the cellophane or as follows.

a. The warning label is clearly visible in the 2 main display areas on the package.
b. The warning label area should be at least 30% of the individual package display area.
c. Printed in at least 12-point type and occupying as much of the area reserved for text on the warning label as possible.
d. The typography must be legible, Helvetica bold, and Arial bold, with a choice of black on white or white on black for typography, layout, and color.
e.1143.3(a)(1) required capitalization and punctuation.
f. Printed type needs to be located in the center of the warning area, and the required warnings need to be oriented in the same direction as the main display area.
Export requirements: No requirements for nicotine content in the U.S. and no more than 20mg/ml of nicotine for export to the EU. The packaging of the product must be child-resistant labeling, tamper-proof, leak-proof, and labeled with health warnings. The use of packaging for advertising and promotional purposes is prohibited.

U.S. packaging must display the California Proposition 65 warning.
“WARNING: This product may expose you to nicotine, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more detailed information, please visit: www.P65warnings.ca.gov”

2. Labeling Requirements
