Support for banning e-cigarettes drops slightly, 3 Russian surveys show
On August 10, SuperJob, a leading Russian data research organization, released its latest survey on e-cigarettes. In the survey conducted on August 7-9, 2023, 65% of respondents said they supported a complete ban on the sale of e-cigarettes, while another 18% said they did not support it and 17% said it was difficult to answer.
The information suggests that this trend is not the first of its kind.
In March of this year, a survey by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin showed that 67% supported the measure, while 13% did not, and 20% said it was difficult to answer, taking into account the proposal of deputies to ban the sale of e-cigarettes altogether.

The survey covered 383 regions of Russia and was taken by 1,600 respondents from August 7-9, 2023. These opinion data reflect the national interest in the e-cigarette sales policy, as well as perceptions and attitudes towards the health of e-cigarettes.
