China’s E-cigarette Exports to Malaysia in October 2023 Statistics and Trends

In October 2023, China exported electronic cigarettes to Malaysia with a total export value of approximately $30.32 million. This represents a month-on-month decrease of 1.67% and a year-on-year decrease of 27.77%. The export quantity amounted to around 689 tons, reflecting a month-on-month decline of 5.65% and a year-on-year decrease of 13.37%.

The average export unit price for electronic cigarettes was $44.02 per kilogram, marking a month-on-month increase of 4.22%. However, on a year-on-year basis, there was a decline of 16.62%. The average price for the category “Electronic cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices” was $5.32 per unit.

Notably, “Electronic cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices” constituted 14% of the total exported product categories, while “Non-tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, nicotine-containing products for non-combustible use” accounted for the majority at 86%.
